Memorial Day

“We cherish too the poppy red that grows on fields where valor led and seems to signal to the skies the blood of heroes never dies” – Moina Michael

For many Americans, today is a day of solemn celebration honoring the fallen heroes and heroines of the United States Armed Forces. Some have given up their children, their wives, their husbands, their mothers and fathers, their friends, their grandfathers and grandmothers in the ultimate selfless act – to protect their country and its freedom.

A thank you seems too simple for such a sacrifice. For those brave men and women who have given their lives for the preservation of this great country we forever memorialize you.
